Pack food for those in need. Hunger is worse than ever due to COVID-19 and we are VERY CAREFULLY helping to fill the void. Fight hunger and food insecurity in New Jersey by joining us for this important meal packing event. COVID has dramatically reduced the available food supply for those in need and we want to relieve this crisis as best we can with your help. Help us reach our goal of packaging 50,000 meals at this event to feed the hungry in our area. Training is provided at the event for each task. Must be 15+ to participate. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE THIS EVENT BASED ON STATE EXECUTIVE ORDERS OR PROFESSIONAL GUIDANCE RELATING TO COVID INFECTION RATES IN NEW JERSEY JUST BEFORE THE EVENT. In such an event we will notify you by email. Due to current COVID conditions, social distancing will be strictly enforced. All attendees MUST wear a proper face mask with ear loops at all times (gator and scarf type masks are not permitted), and all persons entering the facility will be carefully pre-screened. Only 4 people will work on a line and less than 20 lines will be operating. Also, the Borough of Lincoln Park requires that each attendee sign a waiver relating to the medical risks of attending the event. A copy of the waiver form will be available on the Grains of Hope web site for your review prior to registering. Please print it out, sign it and bring it to the event . We may be making audio and/or video recordings during the event for training, historical and promotional purposes. By registering, each participant agrees to the use of their image or voice recording in any form by Grains of Hope and its partners in this event as part of their respective training and communications programs, including the release of recorded content to media. Participants in the meal packing area may be exposed to soy protein powder and wheat-based macaroni product. If you, or a child you are responsible for, is allergic to any of these items, please contact us in advance ([email protected]) and we will attempt to assign jobs that are removed from the allergens. Signed Community Service forms will be available as you exit the event. When you check in at the welcome desk, please advise the staff that you will need a signed form at the end of your service. We recommend that a family signs up together so that we can keep family members together at one or more adjoining lines.
