As you can see in the picture we are half way done with our new construction. I am looking for someone to help maintain our new facility and help us finish moving in!!! New building and equipment so if you are interested in starting from day one in our plant apply today. We move in this month. Objective: Contribute to the growth and profitability of the company by assisting with the maintenance of all equipment and the company facilities. Basic Function: Responsible for servicing and doing repairs on facilities equipment. Work on facility projects as needed. Essential Functions: • Perform maintenance on equipment and machinery repairs by troubleshooting, repairing, and gathering tools. • Ensures proper working order of all equipment by performing needed service checks and notifying lead or Manager of potential problems or unnecessary wear • Assists with general facilities maintenance by performing equipment yard clean-up, shop clean-up, and assisting maintenance staff with other projects as needed • Be available after regular working hours if equipment repairs are needed (on-call) • Adheres to all safety standards and policies • Wears all required personal protective equipment Additional Duties: • Moves office equipment and materials as required • Uses hand tools to perform carpentry, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing • Operate a forklift as needed • Other duties and special projects as assigned by Manager Knowledge/Experience: • High school diploma or GED equivalent required Skills/Abilities: • Current and valid drivers license • Clean driving record • Ability to listen, take direction, and learn • Ability to work with hand and power tools • Use safe work practices • Ability to work flexible hours and weekends when necessary Working Conditions: • Some intermittent local travel • Exposure to chemicals, oils, dirts, etc. • Exposure to excessive noise • Outdoor work • Overtime as required • Be available for on call after normal working hours for repairing equipment as needed Physical Requirement: • Ability to lift up to 75-100 lbs on frequent bases • Requires bending, lifting, and climbing • Must wear personal protective equipment
