At The Wishing Tree Company in Encinitas, we're "Planting love. Growing memories." We are an e-commerce gift company specializing in beautiful trees, delivered and planted. We're looking to hire tree planters who will deliver and plant our 15 gallon size Garden Trees in folks' backyards throughout San Diego and North County. These folks are not our customers - they are the giftees who have been sent a tree by our customers. The trees you'll plant are gifts sent in celebration of a baby's birth, a new home or maybe a big birthday. Or the tree may be planted in honor of a loved one who has passed on. The ideal planter candidate will be mindful, not just about correct planting but also about the reason for the gift tree. Some horticultural knowledge is helpful. You'll need to be able to load and unload nursery pots that may weigh 60 lbs and dig 2' deep & wide planting holes with hand tools only. Without damaging their existing landscape and irrigation. It's not rocket science. If you're fairly strong, love plants and are good with people, it's fun and satisfying work. Flexible schedule - one full day or two half days per week to start.
