Must live in San Diego to be considered for this position. Celebrating 30 years as San Diego’s trusted design + build company, Lars Remodeling & Design specializes in all aspects of home remodeling and is Remodeling Project Assistant – General Labor to join our growing team. Job Duties and Responsibilities: *Please Note: Additional responsibilities may be assigned at the discretion of the Project Manager Daily cleanup of job sites Delivery of plumbing and/or other materials needed for jobs Pick-up supplies requested by Project Manager using cloud base software Use Company’s cloud-based software program for checking daily calendar and specific duties/tasks assigned by the Project Manager for completion If needed, ability to communicate effectively with inspectors and clearly relay any pertinent details back to the Project Manager Proactively work to maintain a safe work environment for everyone on job sites Qualifications: Past construction work a plus Basic knowledge of a broad range of construction methods and techniques Excellent daily communication skills with Project Managers Ability to take direction from Project Managers and ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and on time Strong work ethic with a desire to learn and increase responsibilities Must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to problem solve Computer skills: aptitude with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Cloud-based software A good understanding of all trades relevant to residential construction The ability to interact and communicate effectively with clients throughout the project lifecycle Valid California Driver's License and clean driving record Lars Remodeling & Design is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
