Celebrating 30 years as San Diego’s trusted design + build company, Lars Remodeling & Design specializes in all aspects of home remodeling and is Home Remodeling Carpentry Assistant to join our growing team. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Minor framing / installation of wood backing for bathroom accessories Ability to install pocket frames and install interior doors Installation of door hardware and bathroom accessories Provide your own hand and pneumatic tools to perform the duties assigned by the Project Manager Assist with inspections if needed at the request of the Project Manager, be able to communicate effectively with inspectors, and be able to clearly relay any pertinent details back to the Project Manager. Proactively work to ensure a safe work environment for everyone on job sites Qualifications: Past construction work a plus Basic knowledge of a broad range of construction methods and techniques Excellent daily communication skills with Project Managers Ability to take direction from Project Managers and ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and on time Strong work ethic with a desire to learn and increase responsibilities Must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to problem solve Computer skills: aptitude with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Cloud-based software A good understanding of all trades relevant to residential construction The ability to interact and communicate effectively with clients throughout the project lifecycle Valid California Driver's License and clean driving record Lars Remodeling & Design is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
