Warehouse Packing / Shipping Associate for eCommerce Company

Well-established, growing company selling fragile scientific instruments is seeking a Shipping Associate to join our team. You will be the primary person responsible for processing and shipping orders with tight deadlines. If you’re the person we are looking for, you’re a stickler for details, accuracy and efficiency. Job duties include pulling products accurately, packing orders efficiently, processing shipping labels via USPS/UPS, and maintaining shipping materials/supplies. • Must have superb attention to accuracy and pack delicate items carefully. • Must have prior experience with eCommerce shipping software like Shipstation, Shipworks, or similar. Experience with international shipping documents and UPS shipping a plus. • Must be able to perform the physical labor necessary. Most shipments are under 5-10 lbs but expect to pull and process large boxes weighing up to 70 lbs. Lots of walking for picking and standing for packing required. • Connect with customers via email or over the phone as required for order processing. • Perform other duties to support inventory management and the company as assigned. Requirements: • Previous experience in packing and order processing (minimum 1 year) • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to prioritize and multitask. • Very deadline and detail-oriented. • Have good written and verbal communication skills. Schedule/Work Hours: We are looking for full-time but may be able to accommodate a slightly modified schedule. Ideally, 30-40 hours per week based on the following schedule: • Mondays: Required from 8am to 3pm. • Saturdays: Required from 9am to 3pm. • Evenings/Holidays: May be occasionally required as dictated by order volume. • Tuesday – Friday: 9am to 2pm. Open to a day off in lieu of Saturday. Education: • High School Diploma or GED required. Work Location: • Cerritos, CA. Pay: $14-$16/hour DOE. COVID-19 considerations: Masks, gloves, sanitizers are available. Masks are required to be worn over mouth/nose at all times. We social distance as much as possible. Covid vaccination required in the very near future.
