We are looking for a responsible custodian to maintain and our facilities. The internal appearance of a building reflects on the occupants and Management. It is important for a custodian, or janitor, to be careful and thorough in working, cleaning and tidying the premises. Needs to have physical endurance to cover a large spaces. A keen eye for detail and diligence are imperative in custodial maintenance jobs. Responsibilities • Maintain our facilities to the highest quality standards to ensure 100% customer satisfaction • General custodial Duties. ( e.g Moping, vacuuming, ect.) • Perform maintenance and minor repairs (replacing broken switches, changing light bulbs, fixing door handles, minor leaks etc.) And Report major damages and oversee repairs • Undertake occasional custodial and janitorial tasks (lifting heavy items, moving chairs, tables etc.) • Work with vendors to conduct installations, repairs and maintenance of equipment as necessary • Ordering and Inventory management of all janitorial amenities such as supplies, clorox wipes, hand sanitizers, soap, paper, etc. • Help tenants in the dock with the freight elevator • Able to work Weekends and Market Weeks as requested by Management. Skills • Knowledge of safe disposal of chemical liquids and other hazardous components • Attention to detail and conscientiousness • Very good physical condition and strength • High school diploma is preferred but not required Willingness To: • Multiple locations • Run Errands Requirements: • 1+ years of coordination experience at a large scale venue, or commercial property. • Strong communication skills • A desire to be hands-on, not afraid to roll up your sleeves • Ability to work well under pressure with tight deadlines • Ability to multi-task and lead several events simultaneously in a fast-paced environment • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on janitorial needs; evenings and sometimes weekends • Excellent eye for detail, organized, thorough and a creative thinker and problem solver • Able to work independently with minimal supervision • A team player who is flexible and professional • Must be available for Graveyard Shifts ( highly important).
