Rockwood is an established Rock/Roots Rock/Americana band based in Boston and we’re looking for a new Drummer! We are currently 4 (you’d be the 5th) easy going guys ranging in age from 25-36. As a band we focus on original songs and growing a fan base with the goal of being a full time, professional band. Our aspirations are to be the kind of band that plays festivals, theaters, basically the kind of band you’d see on a Tiny Desk concert. We’ve recorded two studio EP’s (with another on the horizon) since 2018 and are continuing to develop our sound and write new songs. We’d love for you to be a part of that! We play pretty consistently throughout the Boston area with some good contacts, but we are pushing towards playing bigger and better shows in the Boston area and regionally (while balancing personal lives). Ideally we’re looking for someone roughly in the age range of 25-35ish who’s committed to building an original band, writing and arranging songs, and most importantly, a good hang. Some of our influences include Allman Brothers, Drive By Truckers, Chicago Blues, Bruce Springsteen, Thin Lizzy, Zeppelin, etc. If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
