Sheppard Cafe is a restaurant offering gourmet burgers, cooked to order entrees and carnival style desserts. We are located inside the food court of a Korean Supermarket called H Mart right off Central Park Avenue, Yonkers, NY. We are seeking a part time kitchen assistance to grow with us 'and become our kitchen manager. You will be trained to learned the skills needed to operate our restaurant and delivery services with confidence. Your hours will be 20 to 30 hours per week. As we get busier and you demonstrates the ability to master the skills needed to perform your duties and responsibilities at standard your hours will increase. The perfect candidate must be passionate about working in culinary field, friendly, able to verbally and write in English well, reliable, work well with others in a team setting, and available to work on the weekends and a few days during the week. A full working schedule will be discussed when we offer you the position. Food Handling certification, culinary school training or previous restaurant experience is a plus.
