If so, you belong at the new Homewood Suites by Hilton in Eagle, Idaho! The Homewood Suites by Hilton in Eagle, Idaho is hiring for the position of F/T or P/T Maintenance Assistant. This position reports directly to and works with the Maintenance Supervisor to maintain a zero defect and safe environment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: maintaining preventative maintenance on equipment and rooms (maintaining/replacing in-room PTAC units), complete the daily maintenance procedures checklist, collect all trash from receptacles around the property and grounds, patrol the grounds and building daily to ensure the property and landscaping are in good condition (reporting any deficiencies to the manager), fix any items requested on maintenance work orders and document all work completed. In addition, responsibilities include snow/ice removal (when applicable), monitoring the pool chemicals, changing light bulbs, driving the hotel shuttle and completing projects as assigned by the Maintenance Manager. Our ideal candidate will have some maintenance experience either in the hotel industry, or a similar field, although we are willing to train the right candidate. Good time management skills and prioritizing of tasks is important. Strong customer service skills are a must and you must be able to work independently and as a team to accomplish tasks.
