We are looking for 36 fair-minded people from Harlan, Leslie, and Whitley, London, Clay, and Perry Counties, KY, to take part in an online jury research project. The objective of the project is to get feedback on the facts of a real lawsuit case by individuals from an area similar to where the case originated. We are paying $75 via PayPal or business check for completing a self-paced online trial that will take approximately 3.5 hours. If selected, you will be able to complete this self-paced online trial at your convenience within a 24-hour window between April 12th and 13th. To register go to privatejury.com! **We are also offering some of our participants an EXTRA $100 to the jurors who provide the best feedback to participate in a 2.5 hour online deliberation Wednesday, April 14th, one from 11:00am- 1:30pm,the other from 2:00pm-4:30pm, from your home.** For this online trial participants must have access to the Internet, a working webcam for a few verbal response questions within the presentation, and a Chrome web browser (phones may work but our software is not specifically designed to support them).
