Bass player looking for group to play with. Little background on me: I've played music for half my life, albeit on guitar primarily. Spent time in LA in the early 2000's playing with bands, did one national tour (all this on guitar). Spent time away from music professionally, but I turned 40 this year and have been longing for the group experience again. I've now picked up Bass and am enjoying the challenge of fitting in the pocket and NOT playing notes. I think playing in a group will help me get better as well...thats my goal. I'll probably never be Victor Wooten, but if I could be Robert DeLeo in a couple years, that be cool. I have eclectic musical tastes. Blues, Hard rock, country... I'll have Josh Turner on, then Beartooth, then Van Halen, then Damien Marley. I honestly dont know who's looking, so just putting feelers out. HMU and we'll go from there. I'm pretty honest with my abilities and can let you know if I'd be a good fit or not. Oh, I'm sure this doesn't matter, but in my experience kinda does... Age 40 (look 30), male, fit, own my own business. Own my own gear. Financially stable. Dont drink or do drugs (although dont judge people who do). No kids that I know of. I'll have my second covid shot on April 22nd as well. Thanks!
