After School Care for Teen with Special Needs

Looking for immediate after school care for my teenager with special needs (intellectual disability similar to Down Syndrome) in my home. 15-20 hours per week. Hours are 2pm-8pm (flexible end time if needed), 2-3 times per week. Occasional weekends. Virtual interview. Responsibilities: *Assist her off the bus and follow her after school routine *Prepare her snack *Unpack her backpack, lunch box *Fold her laundry and take care of her personal space in our home. *Assistance using the bathroom and personal care *Supervision Skills: -Positive communication skills and outgoing personality -Friendly, compassionate, understanding personality -Follow a routine and plan -Experience working with someone with special needs -Excellent verbal and written communication skills Requirements: -Driver's License -Background Check -Year commitment $10 per hour
