The League for Animal Welfare is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in the Eastgate area. Founded in 1949, the League operates the leading no-kill animal shelter and adoption center in the Tri-State area. Our mission is to reduce the number of homeless cats and dogs in Greater Cincinnati by providing a compassionate no-kill shelter and programs that promote responsible pet care. We are looking for a part time, Kennel Technician to join our team of animal lovers! Our Kennel Techs are responsible for not only keeping our kennels and cat rooms clean but also the entire shelter beautiful! Additionally, Techs socialize the animals, perform morning feedings, dispense medications and observing/reporting any out of the ordinary behaviors. Hours are Saturdays & Sundays from 6am-1pm. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and love animals! Ideal hire will be responsible, mature, able to pass background check including drug test and have reliable transportation.
