We are looking for an immediate hire for a part-time Warehouse Support Associate for our warehouse and store in our Orland Park. What is Warehouse Store Support? It’s working the warehouse and helping customers on the showroom floor. That means: -Loading and unloading trucks -Assembling furniture correctly -Handling furniture with care and keeping things clean -Tagging merchandise -Ensuring safety and safe lifting techniques -Working with customers -Processing orders on a POS computer system -Be friendly, polite and curious to customers for merchandise pick-up -Any other support needed across the warehouse, store or office This position is scheduled for Wednesday – Sunday Who You Are -Excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills -Basic math, computer and POS skills with a high degree of accuracy -Able to lift 50 lbs., unassisted, moving furniture in showroom and warehouse -Able to successfully complete our pre-employment background, physical and drug screening -Operating forklift & pallet jack and other power and/or hand tools -A wholehearted customer service approach with a professional and welcoming presentation. Education: High School diploma or equivalent GED, 1-3 years’ work experience in a related field, retail a plus.
