Monument Enterprises is seeking a talented carpenter in the metro area with minimum 3 years’ experience in commercial property maintenance. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to be a team player, must be reliable and self-motivated, must have strong communication, must be well organized and must have knowledge of all facets in maintenance. Requirements include:Carpenter • Providing carpentry & repair services to HOAs, condominium communities and commercial clients to include rough and finish carpentry, flooring, drywall, cabinetry, light electrical and light plumbing. • HVAC & Plumbing experience is a plus • Interacts with clients and provide exceptional customer service that exceeds expectations • We are seeking energetic, reliable and positive team members who are willing to learn new skills and enjoy working in a variety of different environments Qualifications • Minimum of 2 years’ general carpentry experience • Experience doing remodeling work is helpful as it presents a variety of different situations • Ability to perform labor intensive work – often working in dirty conditions • Must have own basic carpenter tools • Ability to lift 50 pounds and carry materials • Ability to work overtime when needed and respond to emergency situations after normal work hours is required • Seeking candidates who reside within 40 miles of our office Dress code: • Long pants (jeans), work boots that come up around the ankle, shirts provided by Monument Enterprises • Personal Protection Equipment: will be provided by Monument Enterprises Requirements: • Must be able to pass drug screening • Must be able to pass background check • Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: Education/Experience High School Diploma or general education degree; or one to three years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Bilingual candidates will be paid a premium. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add and subtract two digits numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using units of US $ and weight measurement, volume and distance. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving variables in standardized situations.
