Groundskeeper with light Maintenance tasks

Description

We are seeking a part-time Maintenance Tech for our 103 Apartments, an independent living Senior Community. The groundskeeper reports directly to the Manager and Maintenance Supervisor. Will be responsible for the cleanliness of the community grounds and the common areas. Must have skills in operating grounds and maintenance equipment. Keep workshop areas neat, cleaned, and organized. Will be responsible for the timely completion of all assigned work requests. Need to possess the capability of performing regular job functions, and to be constantly alert as to needed improvements and make recommendations to the Manager. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Require to wear a back-support belt while on duty, gloves for all cleaning activities and goggles when handling any type of chemicals. Any other duties within company policy requested by the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager. Must have at least 1 year of grounds keeping. Possess a valid driver's license, must have reliable transportation, clean driving record, Insurance and your own tools. Pre-employment drug and background screening are required. Salary is $13-$15/hour depending on experience. Schedule is Monday-Friday and part-time between 20 hours to 23.75 hours per week.
