Highway guardrail Work in Schulenburg, Texas and surrounding counties. We are looking for applicants that have experience in highway gaurdrail repair and installation. Job also requires the use of traffic control. Applicantmust maintain a Safe and Productive attitude. Applicant must demonstrate the ability to comply with all OSHA and State Safety Regulations. Perform assigned work efficiently, while being a team player. Able to follow verbal directions. Must perform strenuous work consistently throughout the day while lifting of up to 120 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds repeatedly. Must possess basic reasoning, problem solving and critical thinking abilities. Room for advancement Some of the duties: *Prepare materials needed for job/s to be completed that day. *Drive company equipment and new material to job sites *Remove damaged post and guardrail *Remove materials from truck/trailer for installation *Install post by preparing hole for installation, checking plumb and height of each post. *Layout and erect material and hardware necessary for installation. *Perform all clean-up duties required. *Maintain accountability for tools and receipts. *Perform all other duties as assigned. Applicants Must Have: * Drivers license (No exceptions) *High School Diploma/GED *Basic construction knowledge *Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations *Carry out simple arithmetic functions *Maintain proper safety equipment required for each job *Ability to adjust to changing work schedule *Ability to work safely under ranging environmental and weather conditions *Capable of lifting up to 110 pounds using proper body mechanics. *Must have steel toe boots *Ability to operate hand/power tools Preferred But Not Required *Previous guardrail repair experience *TMA or traffic control experience *Fencing experience * Heavy machinery experience You will be working outside during the day (sometimes night) in Texas weather conditions.
