Custodian- 1st Shift The UW Madison-Wisconsin Union is seeking a Custodian to join our team. This position will perform general building maintenance and custodial work for the Wisconsin Union. Under the general supervision of the Custodial Supervisor, this position will provide cleaning and maintenance of common areas of building on a daily basis according to established cleanliness and sanitary standards. This position is eligible to receive differential pay for nights and weekends: -Compensation for hours worked over 40 in a workweek is at “premium time” (one and a half times the regular hourly rate). -Night differential of $0.80 per hour for all hours worked between 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. -Weekend differential of $0.80 per hour for all weekend hours worked (i.e., work hours between 12:01 a.m. on Saturday and 12:00 midnight on Sunday).
