Well established company in Tigard is seeking a warehouse person to join our team. This is an on-site, full-time position, Monday through Friday, but could include some Saturdays. Benefits include paid holidays, sick leave, vacation, medical and 401K. Compensation is based on experience. Duties include receiving and handling floor covering materials (carpet, vinyl, pad, ceramic tile, hardwood, laminate, etc.), loading and unloading trucks, staging jobs for installers and basic warehouse responsibilities. Can involve driving company truck to local vendors. Requirements: • High school diploma or GED • Current/Valid Oregon Driver's License • Clean driving record • Must be able to pass a drug test • Must be able to pass a background check • Prior warehouse and/or floor covering experience • Forklift experience a plus • Read pick tickets and receiving manifests with attention to detail • Regularly and repetitively lift 50 pounds and frequently lift 75 pounds, using proper equipment • Able to move freely about the facility, climb stairs, stoop, bend, kneel, stand and walk for extended periods of time up to and over 8 hours a day • Use all types of warehouse equipment including, but not limited to, hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, ladders • Basic computer and math skills • Mutli-tasking with efficiency • Working alone and in teams
