The Portlander Inn Hotel at Jubitz in North Portland is currently hiring a part-time Housekeeping Attendant! We offer competitive pay, a great cash incentive program, and awesome managers and co-workers. Anticipated schedule starts at 9am, 2-3 days/wk, with flexibility for extra shifts if interested. APPLY HERE: Job Summary: Responsible for the routine cleaning of hotel rooms, including stripping and making beds, cleaning showers, sinks, and toilets, and vacuuming and dusting. Replenish guest room supplies, transport trash and waste to disposal area, and assist with hotel laundry. Deliver World Class Customer Experiences to all hotel guests when approached for information or directions. - Follow housekeeping control sheet to ensure completion of all duties. - Maintain average room cleaning time. - Identify any deficiencies in room that need repair or attention. - Keep housekeeping cart fully stocked daily. Qualifications and Experience: - Prior housekeeping experience strongly preferred. - Must have outstanding customer service and communication skills. - Must be 18 years or older to apply. - Knowledge of cleaning materials and proper handling is preferred. - Maintain punctual, regular and predictable attendance. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand or walk for a minimum of 8 hours. Reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Employee must be able to talk, hear, and see. The employee may occasionally be required to lift 30 pounds to waist and frequently required to lift 20 pounds to chest or above.
