AM ORDER SELECTOR **** $13.25 p/hr + a full benefits package and a sign on/retention bonus totalling $500.00! Wage increases at 3 mos and 6 mos! Shift: Monday - Thursday 7AM to job completion ****** TO LEARN MORE & APPLY ******** General Summary: The purpose of the warehouse order selector is to pick and pack orders using a hand-held computer, pulling stock, packing totes/boxes, and staging for next day deliver while maintaining quality service by following organization standards Order Selectors maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat, and maintaining a clean work area, complying with procedures, warehouse rules and regulations. This position also contributes to team effort by accomplishing departmental goals. Essential Job Functions:  Pick and pack orders using a hand-held computer, pulling stock, packing totes/boxes, and staging for next day delivery.  Order Selectors perform physical labor that requires constant moving and frequent lifting, pushing and pulling of items up to 40 lbs. throughout duration of shift, and occasionally up to 50 lbs.  Will stand/walk for 10-12 hours/shift  Places items in totes/boxes or on floor.  Scans products and understand the hand-held scanner Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:  Highly dependable with a strong work ethic  Safety-conscious with demonstrated safe working habits  Reliable transportation to and from Rich and Rhine warehouse  Ability to lift, pull, push, stack, and carry items up to 40 lbs. on a frequent basis occasionally up to 50 lbs.  Comfortable working in an upbeat, fast-paced environment while maintaining safe work habits  Motivated to seek out, identify, and improve processes  Team-oriented and customer-focused  Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy Education and Experience:  High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred but not required  Rich and Rhine will train new employees to safely operate riding forklifts Please note that this is the minimum needed. ****** TO LEARN MORE & APPLY ******** ******Rich and Rhine Wholesale of Portland is now a Harbor Wholesale company and we have new opportunities! ********
