Now feel free to come in and shop us privately to get a customers perspective. We are a real wood, UNFINISHED retail furniture store. Really cool business that stands alone as the only true Custom hand rubbed finishes...... that’s where you come in! The title is Furniture Tech but in our business that stands for so much more. You are also a finishing apprentice as we teach you how we do finishing. There is loading and unloading trucks, deliveries, assembly, basic power tools and Sanders, noises, dusty at times... typical warehouse but a fun place to work! You are always treated with respect and we demand the same in return. I don’t need a 20 year finishing expert or a master builder. * clean cut is a must. No neck tattoos, No tattoos on face or hands, no earrings for men, absolutely no smokers I need someone that pays attention to details and can learn from mistakes. The rest can be taught if the individual is willing..... it is a very rewarding job. To start unfinished and create a persons dream vision. When you deliver it and it was your hands that did it... yea if that excites you we need to talk. If it seems like just another gig, save us both the time olease! It is an entry level position (the pay reflects that... if you fit into our system the pay will reflect that as well) that has the ability to grow into a lucrative lead finishing position. We are a real wood, unfinished furniture store who does finishing for our customers. The initial position will be a furniture tech: Assembly of furniture, sanding, loading, unloading, repetitive bedding, working in all types of weather climates. Do You Enjoy Working with your hands? This position is a hands on labor based There is repetitive bending, unloading and loading of trucks, deliveries and furniture finishing. Are you a person who pays attention to detail? To become a lead finisher which should be your goal. You need attention to detail. Painter and finish carpenter helpers do well in this position. Enjoy the public? If you do not have the ability to come to work to serve our customers don’t even apply. We love our guests and treat them accordingly. We respect our employees and DEMAND he same in return. If you have a quick mouth this won’t be a good fit for you. Have a willingness to learn and accept constructive, respectful, criticism? Our goal is to grow someone into a lead finisher. In order to do this we must teach you how we finish. If you want to come in and tell us how we should shift our business model we definitely aren’t a good fit. We are looking for Someone who can plug into our existing system. It works for us and it’s staying in place. Are you dependable? Everyone posts this and most applicants swear they are. All 8 can say is if you are late or don’t show by your scheduled times on a VERY consistent manner you won’t last here. We run a small crew and everyone is essential. Don’t get me wrong - things come up in life and we want to help and will. Well this s as honest as I can ne about who we are and what I’m looking for. Pride, honor, commitment are words I love seeing displayed in our store. We all take pride in our end result. What we offer in return: * A casual work atmosphere * Opportunity for good pay but you earn it! * Flexible family atmosphere * Every Sunday and Monday off.... in retail that’s unheard of. * A place you can settle in and make your own. * Absolute pride in the products and services we offer. Please send me a resume or at least a job history and bit about yourself with skills that you feel might fit. I’m not looking for college thesis - I’m blue collar and like direct blue collar interactions. I look forward to finding the next right one. We laugh a lot, work hard and are a pretty tight knit crew. It is a physical job and all will be considered. You must be able to lift 150 lbs sometimes, 25-75 lbs regularly with long periods of standing, bending, kneeling, loud noises, sanders, dust..... it’s the blood line of real wood. If that excites you we need to talk. If even a part of this bugged you - chances are you are right we wouldn’t fit. Thank you all for your time in reading this and considering us. We look forward to hearing from you!
