Description
Locally owned and managed apartment complex seeking resident maintenance personnel to oversee apartment turnovers, perform small maintenance work orders and repairs, and coordinate with vendors for larger maintenance projects. Scheduled hours are 35 - 40 per week plus some on call days that are shared. The position is available immediately.
Compensation: Competitive wages, plus on-site apartment provided after 30 days. Paid holidays, paid personal/sick days and paid vacation. All tools and materials provided.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and insurance
- Must be able to lift over 50 pounds
- Ability to understand and write in English
- Must pass background check
Expected duties will be all routine and turn-over maintenance in apartment units and buildings including:
- Painting, some drywall installation and some texturing
- Minor electrical such as replacing outlets or changing fixtures
- Minor plumbing such as replacing faucets or sinks
- Appliance repair such as replacing thermostats
- Pool maintenance during pool season
- Maintain safety standards
- Keep apartments safe
- Ice control in winter
- Keep record of maintenance requests
- Maintain grounds - lawn, plants, etc.
The maintenance worker will be supervised by the property manager. We expect the maintenance personnel to remain professional at all times with tenants, vendors and visitors, and maintain the property standards.
