Please don’t adopt animals unless you can give them a forever home. I know sometimes things come up that are out of our control like illness and financial hard times but to just get rid of a cat because you don’t have time or that the cat needs to go because of pregnancy or some other lame excuse is ridiculous. I’ve travelled all over as a traveling nurse, I’ve moved when I was in the military and NEVER have I gotten rid of my cats. They are family. You don’t know what is going to happen to your cat if you just give them away. They could be used as bait for dog fighting or fed to pet snakes... so please think and make sure you can care for a cat before adopting one.
