Our experience with both State and Federal agencies is used to insure that all regulations are followed for the land application or dewatering of biosolids/sludges. We provide low turbidity dredging so facilities can continue to operate during the dredging process. Ideal candidates must be able to travel throughout the work week and be able to work overtime. Position Summary Under the supervisor of experienced operators you will learn the processing of material in a safe, effective timely manner in compliance with all SOP's, company, federal, state and local regulations/policies. Operates a variety of equipment used in the removal and land application of solids from wastewater and water treatment facilities. Learn to safely operate all equipment as necessary, including but not limited to front-end loader, excavator, dredge, centrifuge, road tractor, spreader box and pickup truck. Maintain professional company image at all times. Qualifications CDL Drivers minimum of 21 years of age, Laborers 18 years of age, valid Class C driver license. A background in equipment, wastewater or agricultural is preferred. Travel Ability to travel 80% to 100%. All employees must be able to travel during the work week. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift or move items up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move items up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
