We are looking for a Beach Crew Supervisor for our Orange County Beach Program. • Enjoy working in the field away from the daily view of a cubicle? • Do you have experience supervising and training employees? • Are you looking for a summer job where you can earn good money? • Do you have a valid CA driver license and a clean driving record? If you answered yes to these questions we would like to hear from you! The work entails: Approximately 40 hours per week, work days starting as early as 5am April-July Driving and supervising 3-6 crew members Posting advertising on barrels on OC beaches Documentation and keeping of Daily Logs (i.e. driving records, completion reports daily/weekly/monthly work schedules, expense reports) Qualifications: The successful candidate is a strong communicator and has the ability to build rapport with crew members. The candidate will pay special attention to detail and perform tasks effectively to meet scheduled obligations. The candidate will have the initiative to develop new ideas in an effort to improve operations where applicable. The candidate must be: • Fluent in English (verbal and written) -- Spanish is a plus • Valid CA Driver License with clean driving record • Documentation for work in the U.S. • 2 years+ supervisory experience • Ability to plan ahead and organize daily scheduled requirements • Some knowledge of OC County beaches • Live in Orange County • Have reliable transportation Compensation $20 - $22/hour Part time/Temporary
