Description
Calling All Talented Male Vocalists! I have been charged with the task of pulling together a chorus of talented young men to sing Erika! and Westerworld for the annual Men and Women's Dance of the Reigning Desert Corn Flowers (RDCF), April 20th, at the Sepulveda Basin. The Männerchor, German for men's chorus, will meet Monday through Thursday from 8am to 12pm, culminating on our big day at the park. As the lyrics go, "And Gretel and Hans Gladly go dancing on Sunday, Because dancing makes joy, And the heart in the body laughs!" SO! With my skills and your grit, I believe we can part the skies with our voices! Telephone auditions begin immediately! Call me at . My name is Shane Chesnut. Composer. Join me! and open your voices to the heavens! Yes this is a paid gig as time is short to pull off a decent round up, but as the saying goes "if you love your job you'll never work a day in your life!" So come all yee tenors and bases, high and low! This is a very special day, and it is always a very good time. An all ages, black tie event, with traditional German foods, a maypole, dancing, athletic contests. The lovely women's chorus will join us on the stage as well as the Wilhelm Frick Elementary School's Youth Choir. After our performance you are invited to enjoy the rest of the day. Payment upon completion. On the heath, there blooms a little flower and it's called Erika. Eagerly a hundred thousand little bees, swarm around Erika. For her heart is full of sweetness, a tender scent escapes her blossom-gown. On the heath, there blooms a little flower and it's called Erika. Back at home, there lives a little maiden and she's called Erika. That girl is my faithful little darling and my joy, Erika! When the heather blooms in a reddish purple, I sing her this song in greeting. On the heath, there blooms a little flower and she's called Erika. In my room, there also blooms a little flower and she's called Erika. Already In the grey of dawn, as it does at dusk, It looks at me, Erika! And then it's to me as if it's saying aloud: "Are you thinking of your fiancée?" Back at home, a maiden weeps for you and she's called Erika
