Have you ever been sitting there watching a news cast
(I have not for years watched news "programs")
and then the weather reporter comes on. It always says
meteorologist! Does any of you know what a meteorologist does?
In today's world they don't do any more then you do when you
punch in (Accuweather) on your computer. Oh 50 years ago
the local weatherman was a meteorologist, Gordon Wear
on NBC channel 4 in LA had his own weather station in the
desert, now they just read what NOAA puts out..
And still weather info is about 10% correct and 90% wrong.
