I have a BA jazz composition and MA jazz guitar performance degrees.
I also have certificates from Drummer's collective and Bass collective.
You will be learning from a very patient, friendly, experienced and encouraging teacher.
You can learn in English or Korean.
You can learn any style of music.
My place is in Leonia, New Jersey, though I can teach at your place.

My short Bio.
Jo Park was born in Seoul, Korea. He started playing guitar and drums at age 10. By the age of 13, he appeared on national TV in Korea with professional musicians, and taught adult students. He studied music composition and guitar at Seoul institute of the Arts which is the most famous applied music college in Korea.
After the graduation, he began playing for various Korean musicians, though he left for the U.S. to pursuit dream of being a jazz guitarist. In the U.S. he studied Jazz composition at the New School, and jazz guitar performance at New York University.
At New York University, he worked as an adjunct professor teaching guitar and ensemble for some years, and then he went back to Korea to work as the dean of an applied music department at Korean Broadcasting Art College for many years. While he was working as the dean, he taught many classes including music theory, music composition and arranging, ensembles, performance workshop, sight reading, etc.
In 2019, he came back to the U.S. Now he teaches classes at a college, also works as the music director at a church, and gives private lessons.
