Boat Yard Position: Full Time, Year round. -Need an all around person with basic carpentry, plumbing and/or electrical skills. Comfortable working with hand tools. -Must have a clean drivers license. Experience driving a forklift, mrine forklift, travel lift, hydraulic trailer a plus. -This person will participate in the preparation, launching and hauling of boats, plus other various maintenance jobs throughout the marina. We will train the right person but must have some real experience. Wages to be determinde by applicants skill set. -Depending on your skill set this could lead to a managerial position operating the marina Fuel Dock attendant: This position is seasonal full or part-time. The attendant will fuel boats and do various tasks around the marina including cleaning of boats and the marina itself. The wage is $14/hour plus tips. The tips on a sunny weekend day can be anywhere from about $50- $200/day. Obviously, during the week the tips will be lower and weather dependent. This position works well for college students. Parts/Store Manager: This is a full-time year- round position that will entail familiarity with boats and boat parts. This person will be responsible for ordering, stocking, and pricing items. They will be responsible for working with repair orders and ensuring the correct parts are ordered and work performed can be done in a timely manner. Interaction with customers and keeping updates on the progress of the work order will be required of this position. Yard Manager: This position is full time and year-round. Must have experience with working in a marina and familiar with the various the tasks typical of a marina. Operating a marine forklift and travel lift preferred. This person must be hands on and will have various responsibilities in managing and operating a marina. Must have a valid driver license. Salary determined by experience.
