Textiles and Sewing Basics You must be an OK FCS Teacher to register.
This 2-day workshop that will offer participants the opportunity to learn basic sewing skills while engaging in some fun activities. Participants will learn how to do Shabori, a Japanese folding and dyeing technique, and Boro/Sashiko, a method of mending textiles. Participants will upcycle an old t-shirt in the style of their choice. (Please see information sheet below for further instructions and items to bring. This workshop will have a one-hour lunch break on your own each day.)
*This workshop is offered only once with a maximum of 16 participants.
