Description

Join us for our first Seattle FBC walk in over a year at the Evergreen Washelli Cemetery! We're back! Please join us for our first bird walk in over a year on Saturday morning, April 24th. We will be meeting in the parking lot on the west side of Aurora and leaving for our walk around the Evergreen Washelli Cemetery at 9:30am! This walk will provide us with plenty of space to stay socially distant and the walk is easy and accessible as the majority of the trails are paved and flat. We'll start on the west side of Aurora and then we'll cross over to the east side of the street to catch more views of feathered friends. Whether you're new to birding or a seasoned songbird seeker, this will be a great opportunity to connect with our feathered neighbors and fellow feminist friends. Please dress for cool/wet weather and we suggest bringing snacks and/or warm drinks. As always, all are welcome on this walk!! *As we begin to host bird outings again, we want to make sure that we continue to take care of one another. This outing is limited to 20 people, and we will be breaking into small groups to bird. Everyone is required to wear a mask and maintain physical distancing, regardless of vaccine status. We also require that all participants follow our code of conduct. Please reach out to [email protected] if you need to borrow binoculars and/or have any questions!
