MATT HOPKINS WARRIOR YOUTH CAMP (1st-8th GRADE) (JULY 15th-18th 6pm-8:00pm) ***WILL BE HELD AT URBANCREST CHURCH DUE TO CONSTRUCTION AT VANDEGRIFT STADIUM*** The Warrior Football Coaching Staff is proud to bring a comprehensive, skill-based instructional camp to the children and aspiring athletes of our community that are going into the 1st through 8th grades in the 2019-20 school year. The coaching staff is excited to bring the values of teamwork, competition, and pride to our football camp. Campers will get to experience direct coaching and instruction on all aspects of the game. From throwing and catching to blocking and safe tackling techiques, campers will be immersed in the fundamentals of football. Featuring a combination of drills, skill work, and competitive games, campers will improve their own ability while having fun with their teammates and friends. Campers will receive instruction from the Warrior Football Coaching Staff as well as Warrior players, both past and present. This is a NON-CONTACT camp. No football equipment is needed. Participants should wear shorts, t-shirt, and athletic shoes or cleats. Participants should also bring their own water (please include name on the bottle). We will try our best to get the requested shirt size for any registration after June 15th. ***Walk up registrations on July 15th will be welcome at a higher cost. MATT HOPKINS WARRIOR HIGH SCHOOL CAMP (9th-12th GRADE) (SESSION 1: JULY 8th-12th 9am-2pm) (SESSION 2: JULY 15th- 19th 9am-2pm) ***WILL BE HELD AT LEBANON HIGH SCHOOL DUE TO CONSTRUCTION AT VANDEGRIFT STADIUM*** The High School Football camp is of vital importance as it is the foundation on which we build the 2019 season. It gives the coaching staff an opportunity to implement both offensive and defensive schemes before the season officially starts. We begin with the very basics and work our way up. All players will learn what we do, why we do it, and how we do things. It's very important that all players attend BOTH sessions of the camp. Although this is a NON-CONTACT camp, we WILL be wearing helmets for this camp. Helmets will be fitted and checked out during the summer for all 9th-12th grade players. Other equipment needed for camp: shorts, shirts, cleats, a packed lunch, and a notebook. Cost of camp includes: the camp, Spirit Pack, a 7v7 tournament (which include linemen), and a embroidered equipment travel bag.
