STRENGTH In The City is hosting a South Platte River clean-up, followed by a happy hour at Number 38 Rivers flow through our country’s history and culture. They are vital to our health and our lives, every day. Clean water is essential to our health and rivers provide more than two-thirds of our drinking water supply. Our rivers support us in many different ways, it's time to return the favor. Please join STRENGTH In The City, in partnership with Denver Parks and Rec for an hour long South Platte River walk cleanup followed immediately by happy hour at Number 38 . 3 PM - Clean-up begins4 - 6 PM - Happy Hour at Number 38Arrival Instructions: - Street parking is available nearby. - 3:00 Meet in the parking lot to grab the required equipment and and go through run down of the day. Supplies for the cleanup will be provided by Denver Parks and Rec. - 4:00 Regroup to return supplies and breakdown. All bags will be left on-site and picked up for disposal. -4:00 Group will head to Number 38 for discounted beverages and socializing, *All participants will be required to remain in masks while participating with the group cleanup and while not sitting at the table at Number 38. If you are experiencing COVID symptoms, have been in close proximity to someone who tested positive or is experiencing symptoms, or have tested positive in the last 14 days, please stay home and join us for our next class. Equipment involved with the HIIT portion will be sanitized between each participant and all staff will remain in masks for the entirety of the event.* About STRENGTH IN THE CITY Foundation STRENGTH IN THE CITY Foundation (SITCF) is a 501(c)(3) organization that focuses on bringing mental and physical health & wellness to the community.
