Semiconductor Operators Balance Staffing is currently recruiting for a premiere high-tech employer in South East Austin. We are seeking individuals who come from a manufacturing, food service, or warehouse background, although experience is not required since we provide training. This is a long term, full time opportunity with benefits and weekly pay. - Temp-to-hire; start on contract, hired on full time at 6 months - PAY $15 - $17/HR - Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision; greater benefits after full time conversion *Fitness center on site & open cafeteria* DAY & NIGHT SHIFTS AVAILABLE: -A Shift (Day): Sun, Mon, Tues, every other Wednesday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm ($15) -C Shift (Day): Thurs, Fri, Sat, every other Wednesday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm ($15) -B Shift (Night): Sun, Mon, Tues, every other Saturday from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am ($16.95) -D Shift (Night): Wed, Thurs, Fri, every other Saturday from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am ($17.25) KEY FUNCTIONS: • Transportation of wafers (microchips) that weigh 5 – 10 lbs from one machine to the next • Repetitively loading and unloading wafers into machines • Data entry on computers and scanning to track product • All job functions done in clean room environment, due to product sensitivity JOB REQUIREMENTS: • Ability to work in a Class 1 clean room • Ability to wear the full clean room suit covered from head to toe • Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 6 hours at a time • Ability to lift up to 10lbs and push/pull up to 20 pounds • Ability to work a compressed shift which entails alternating between 3 and 4 consecutive 12 hour shifts each week • High school graduate or GED is required • All applicants must be 18 years or older • Drug screen and background check required. No felonies or anything violent or theft related
