Through thrilling hockey, our goal is to raise funds to purchase AEDs, host cardiac screenings, & raise awareness of Sudden Cardiac Arrest. 10th Annual Kevin J. Major Memorial Hockey Tournament A weekend of hockey, friends, & fun!! We are seeking volunteers to man Kev's Gear, Silent Auction, Raffle, and Food tables. FAQs How can I learn more about KEVS Foundation, their story, and their mission? The goal of KEVS Foundation is to educate and help prevent Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) in children and young adults. KEVS Foundation facilitates FREE youth heart screenings, helps to provide program resources for public access defibrillator programs and teaches the importance of early bystander CPR/AED education and awareness in our communities. The tournament is FREE of charge to spectators of the games and those who wish to enjoy the raffle and auction. Are there minimum age requirements to volunteer? Ages 14+ are allowed to volunteer in pairs or small groups; most stations require at least two people, and sometimes volunteers are placed at separate tables. All volunteers will be supervised by the Team Major Committee. Can we volunteer in a group? Of course! We would love to accommodate your volunteer group. Please reach out to Megan with your interest ([email protected] / (413)454-8519) or simply sign up for the slots you'd like; you will need everyone's name and number. We are happy to add additional slots to the raffle table, and other spots where we can always use help, so that you may volunteer together. Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? Nope! Just yourself. You will check-in with Team Major Committee members upon arrival; look in the room to the left upon arriving in the lobby of Amelia, or for a Team Major shirt. Please arrive 5 minutes early. Would you be willing to sign off on my time here for volunteer hours? Of course!
