MECHANIC / TECHNICIAN POSITION DESCRIPTION This part-time position will be responsible for overseeing the parts & service departments. This includes organizing & maintaining the shop schedule for the mechanics working on industrial, street, and parking lot sweepers as well as trailers and some trucks. It will also include working directly with customer and employees at the parts counter as well as providing customer service and some technical support over the phone. MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY Working on customers’ units while maintaining communication with the shop foreman and manager PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Must possess a good attitude and be enthusiastic Must be a good listener & instruction follower Enthusiastic Excellent customer service Excellent organizational skills Must possess business etiquette PHYSICAL DEMANDS Both indoor / outdoor work environment WORK ENVIRONMENT Fast paced shop that provides sales and service as well as parts to customers.
