MECHANIC MECHANIC / TECHNICIAN POSITION DESCRIPTION This position will be responsible for working on industrial, street and parking lot sweepers as well as trailers and some trucks. Must have own general tools, however industry specific tools will be provided. MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY Working on customers’ units while maintaining communication with the service manager PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Most Important: Good Attitude Must have the ability to multi-task Must be reliable Good listener & instruction follower Must be able to follow instructions verbally and written Enthusiastic Valid AZ driver license Reliable transportation and continuous ability to be reached Strong work ethic with the ability to maintain self-direction 10 years’ experience with heavy and / or industrial equipment (Required) Hydraulic experience (Preferred, not required) Electrical experience (Preferred, not required) Welding experience (Preferred, not required) PHYSICAL DEMANDS Outdoor work environment WORK ENVIRONMENT Fast paced shop that provides sales and service as well as parts to customers.
