C & S Blacktopping, Inc is looking for a GENERAL LABORER to join our team. We are a residential and commercial paving contractor based out of the north metro. Responsibilities: Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task Assist crew with various duties such as sweeping, tamping, shoveling, raking, and compacting Signal operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and materials Lift, carry, and hold materials, tools, and supplies Be kind and courteous to traveling public, pedestrians, and co-workers Follow direction of Lead as to daily tasks and expectations for each specific project or jobsite Dig, spread, and level construction materials Other duties as may be assigned Qualifications and Skills: Successfully pass a D.O.T. physical, pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check Must maintain current driver’s license that meets state requirements, i.e., CDL, Class A, Class B and/or Class C Strong time management/organizational skills Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or Leads with other duties as required Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in construction and asphalt paving To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily Wage range based on experience.
