Our own little festival to celebrate the first year of being in business! Fèis Mateo’s Malts! celebrates the distilleries that introduced us to our first whiskies and provided inspiration to start up the company! Fèis is the Gaelic word for festival and while not a big blowout party during the pandemic, we will have a safe and fun event outdoors to say happy birthday to Mateo's Malts! The whisky / whisky lineup celebrates Bushmills, Bunnahabhain, Tobermory and Jura. Distilleries release special vintages during their festival days, and in this spirit we have picked unique whiskies for your enjoyment! All of these are finished in sherry and sweet wine casks that will leave your mouth tingling with flavor! The attendance will be capped at 12 paying attendees in order to keep with social distancing guidelines. The event will be outside and the samples and food pairings will be handled by the proprietors of Mateo's Malts. Thank you for your understanding as we host an incremental and safe approach to returning to in-person events. A special commemorative gift will be handed to all of the lassies and laddies!
