Knowledgeable about maintaining, cleaning, and preserving a wide variety of surfaces. Follows instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies. Flexible to performing cleaning duties in a range of areas.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
Stocks Room Attendant’s cart and cleaning hand caddy.
Participates in maintaining inventory controls for cleaning products, linens, and amenities.
Cleans guest rooms, club building, and athletic facility.
Disinfect all high and low contact areas.
Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
Vacuum clean carpets, rugs, and draperies.
Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery on a cycle - when needed.
Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
Empty and clean trash containers.
Dispose of trash in a sanitary manner.
Disinfect and clean washbasins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
Disinfect and clean toilets, urinals, and stalls.
Wipe down glass surfaces.
Makeup beds and change linens.
Clean rooms for newly arriving guests and tidy up rooms for stayovers.
Wash windows as scheduled.
Linen - sort, inspect for damage, put away, and aid with maintaining linen inventory.
Maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition.
Provide routine inspection of guest rooms and facilities for repairs needed, and report necessary repairs and replacements accordingly.
Works to become a part of the club's mission and operational plan while being in service to the club members, club offerings, guest rooms, and event space.
PREFERRED SKILLS and/or ABILITIES
• Demonstrated experience working in this capacity for a building, hotel, event center, or private club.
• Ability to work with and without supervision.
• Attentive to detail.
• Ability to learn, work effectively with others, and remain flexible in a high-performing environment.
