Area high school students: Explore healthcare and career opportunities in the field of Emergency Medical Services (EMS). Phoenix Paramedic Solutions is excited to announce the 2021 Discovery EMS Camp. The camp provides area high school students with the chance to explore career opportunities in the field of Emergency Medical Services. Campers experience hands-on medical and patient care skills and the diverse opportunities that a job in EMS can lead to. This is the only camp in the Midwest dedicated to providing high school students with authentic, hands-on experiences in EMS, a pathway for careers in healthcare. • Camp limited to first 30 area high school students that register on-line (see link below) • Explore EMS careers and participate in EMS Olympics Team Challenge • Field trip to healthcare facilities, industrial partners and Lafayette Emergency Dispatch • Internship opportunities with Phoenix Paramedics for interested students • 3 EMT Scholarships will be awarded at the end of camp WHEN: Monday June 21 to Friday June 25, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM daily WHERE: Oakland High School, 1100 Elizabeth St, Lafayette, Indiana WHO: Area HS Students interested in careers in EMS and Healthcare COST: FREE!
