Handymen may work in commercial or residential settings making basic repairs to electrical, plumbing, and heating systems, installing fixtures, painting, and more. They manage all the odd jobs that are needed to keep a building running. The skilled handyman/carpenter/painter will be responsible for performing repairs/remodels in private homes and businesses as needed and include: - Clearing and repairing household items, performing renovations on properties, painting, clearing drainpipes, repairing toilets, minor bathroom remodels, repairing and replacing carpet, fixing and replacing windows, fixing replacing siding, taping and repairing drywall, always ensuring proper disposal techniques are adhered to. - The qualified handyman candidate will also respond to emergency calls from homeowners or residents.- Able to fix flooring and baseboard installation.- Occasionally will be required to submit bids on jobs not suitable for or outside the budget of the project. In these instances, the handyman will be required to effectively communicate the budget for which management has outlined and manage the contracts and contractors by saving all required receipts and invoices for processing.
