SUYAN Dallas has partnered with Derrick McDonald photography to offer our members professional headshots at a discounted rate. ​ SUYAN Dallas has partnered with Derrick McDonald photography to offer our members professional headshots at a discounted rate. This will be an outdoor shoot, allowing us to practice social distancing and follow CDC guidelines. Once the photos have been taken, members will then be allowed to choose which of the photo they like the best and one professional re-touch will be provided for no additional charge. The discounted rate for our members will be $40/person and $45/person for non-members. We have provided two time slot periods for you to choose from for the day of the event. When: May 1, 2021 Meeting Location: At the front of the Statler Hotel Downtown Dallas 1914 Commerce St, Dallas, TX 75201 Parking: Street parking is available around the hotel. We will walk to the shoot location from there. Group 1:12-1:30 PM Group 2: 1:45-3:00PM (Please plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to your selected group’s start time.) The purpose of the Southern University Young Alumni Network is to accelerate the growth of the Southern University Alumni Federation by increasing the opportunity for young Alumni participation through engagement within the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex via strategically planned signature events. The COVID-19 pandemic, among other societal ills, has weighed heavily on the minds and hearts of the DFW community. SUYAN -Dallas believes this event will serve as a safe and fun-filled way to connect with the participants.
