Kia earned a Bachelor of Arts dual-degree in Elementary Education and Sociology at Framingham State University and a Master of Science (M.S.), focused in Sports Business Management from Manhattanville College, while also serving as their women’s Assistant Basketball coach. A Martha’s Vineyard, MA native, Kia now resides in Dorchester, MA with her husband and four children.
