Chef Nelson German of Sobre Mesa and Chef Byron Gomez of 7908 Aspen invite you to an intimate 8 course dining experience. Nelson German, chef and owner of Oakland-based Sobre Mesa and alaMar, will join forces with Chef Byron Gomez of 7908 Aspen for a two-night-only intimate dining experience at Sobre Mesa. The chefs, who are competitors on Top Chef Season 18, will collaborate on an eight-course tasting menu reflective of their culinary heritage: Chef Nelson is Dominican and Chef Byron was born in Costa Rica. Join Chef Nelson and Chef Byron on April 28 or April 29 to experience their culinary journeys first-hand. Two seatings are available per night. The first seating at 5pm will consist of an 8 course tasting menu while the 8:30pm seating will be an eight course tasting menu accompanied by thoughtfully paired cocktails by the Sobre Mesa bar team with each course. Reserve early. No menu modifications to the tasting menu or cocktail pairing can be accommodated as the dishes will be presented as the Chefs have intended. Must be 21 or over to attend.
