Family and COVID-19 friendly STEAM event celebrating arts and science WorldBeat Center Presents The Bird and Arts Celebration, celebrating WorldBeat Center’s 32nd Birthday, and CA Arts, Culture and Creativity Month. Featuring Bird Watching Poetry by Jonnierenee Nia Nelson Spoken Word by Tebe Zalango Storytelling with Alyce Cooper Arts and Crafts for children Plant Music Showcase featuring Jamie Shadowlight Soft Opening to WorldBeat Center’s Healing Peace Garden Please respect our COVID-Safety Protocols: *This is completely an outdoor event. No activities will be taken indoors. In order to create a safe environment for participants, staff, and volunteers, we ask that you abide by the following safety measures. We ask all participants, staff and volunteers that are sick or exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19 to please stay home. Symptoms include fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, congestion, runny nose, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. Face coverings must be worn when entering and checking, in the lot, in the garden, using the restroom, exiting, entering, speaking to staff, etc. Masks are not required when eating or drinking at a table. Participants shall be temperature and/or symptom screened upon arrival and hand sanitizer will be available at no charge. Maintain 6 feet of physical distance during the event. Avoid physical contact with participants outside of your house/family. All participants must register to attend and there are no walk-ups or drop-ins will be allowed at this time. We will cap attendance to 30 total participants at one time. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Wash your hands regularly. Participants must report to the venue if any signs of COVID-19 arise within 14 days of participation in the event.
