STAMFORD, CT — A Stratford man accused of attempting to rob a mother and her toddler at gunpoint before a 2015 cancer awareness walk in Stamford was sentenced to five years in prison Tuesday after he pleaded guilty to attempted first-degree robbery, the Connecticut Post reports.
