Description
NORWALK, CT — A 23-year-old Norwalk man was arrested by Norwalk police on a warrant over the weekend in connection with two vehicle break-ins on Barbara Drive last August, according to authorities.
Kevin Kenmeugne, of Day Street, was charged with two counts of third-degree burglary in connection with the incidents, which were reported on Aug. 22.
Kenmeugne is accused of breaking into two unlocked vehicles at separate addresses on the street, though it appears he did not take anything.
Norwalk police detectives were able to develop Kenmeugne as the suspect, and he turned himself in over the weekend.
The Hour writes that Kenmeugne is facing charges in connection with other vehicle burglaries in Norwalk in 2019 and 2020, and he is also facing similar charges in Westport.
Kenmeugne was held in lieu of bail of $25,000, and he is scheduled to appear in court on May 4.
